Take a Trip to Mixon

Get the real Florida experience at Mixon Fruit Farms by trying homegrown oranges and petting an alligator. There’s lots to do from sampling sweet treats, learning all about orange juice and meeting even more exotic wildlife.

Shop around Mixon Market

Take a stroll around the indoor market and sample fresh fruits and juices made on site. Curious about how the juices are made? There is a self-guided tour of the processing plant at the back of the market for your convenience. There are lots of souvenirs to look at, so be sure to grab one for family members or take some home for yourself. Feeling a bit hungry? Don’t worry, there’s a delicious café right inside the market. Finish your meal off with their legendary homemade orange swirl ice cream. Get the real Mixon experience by hopping on board the Orange Blossom Express for a tour around the grove. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 3-11 and children 2 and under are free.

Included in the Grove tour is a visit with Wildlife Inc. who uses some of Mixon’s property to rehabilitate injured wildlife. You get to meet all kinds of animals from birds to reptiles. There are always new animals staying at Mixon’s so it’s different every time. Bring a camera because you’ll need it to capture all of the amazing memories you will make.
